This kit will provide you the following functions –

12V LEISURE BATTERY CHARGING

Leisure battery charging from the alternator your van. This is powered by our 20A DC-DC battery to battery charger.

Not only will this kit work with smart alternators, it’ll also work with standard ones too. It’ll provide a more stable and reliable charge to your leisure battery (extending life & available capacity) over a traditional voltage sensitive relay kit.

BLUETOOTH BATTERY MONITOR

This great Bluetooth monitor allows you to keep an eye on the current state of leisure battery by providing various stats such as voltage etc as well as –

Receive notifications of battery condition when in bluetooth range.
Alerts via your phone if the system detects abnormal data.
Short-circuit and reverse connection protection.
Data stored in the battery monitor for up to 35 days if out of sync.

12V MAIN CONTROL PANEL & BUS BAR

This is the main control panel in the van, fed from one of the outlets on the 6 way fuse box. This unit comes with a voltmeter, USB port and a 12V port. The panel has five switched fused outlets to feed the other 12v items in your van such as your lighting, water pump. fridge etc.

There is also a 5 way negative bus bar provided, so you can terminate all negatives to this point from the control panel.

12V MINI PANEL

Again, powered from the 6 way fuse box, this small panel is great for installing in the bed area of your van as it doesn’t take up too much space and its ideal for charging a phone or tablet.

Similar to the other two units, this is also powered from the fuse box, but this one is your high powered quick charge USB C (PD) & USB A port, suitable for charging large capacity devices.

240V MAINS HOOK UP

This part of the kit will allow you to hook up to a standard 16A camp site site hook up and will then power the mains sockets in the van. As standard, the kit will come with two double three pin sockets (In a choice of finish), both complete with dual 2.1A USB ports and a standard three pin socket to power the on board mains battery charger.

This mains consumer unit will be 90% pre-assembled with all the major wiring in the completed. All you need to do is route the cables in your van and wire up the 16amp hook up point, the switch, and sockets.

SMART MAINS LEISURE BATTERY CHARGER (CHOICE OF TWO UNITS)

This is small but vital part of the kit. These chargers are hard wired onto the leisure battery terminals in the van. It serves various functions but the two main ones enable you to keep your leisure battery topped up at home as the charger can be left attached permanently but also when on site, it keeps power to your battery so that you can continue to run your 12V equipment without having to start the van or rely on solar.

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Although we have listed the 12V cable as separate lengths in each part of the kit, these are only suggestions as we know sometimes this isn’t suitable and you need longer or shorter lengths. So all of the same cable will be provided on a continuous roll for you to cut up and install as per your build to give you a bit more flexibility.
