The D.O.D. is an all-mountain opportunist, equally comfortable ripping through the trees or buttering through the park. New for this season this FullWrap dynamo features the innovative new UltraFlex Pro ankle straps with AuxTech® with next level locked-in hold. The D.O.D. is a medium flexing workhorse that steps to the jump line or the steepest lines on the hill with ease.
The Rome D.O.D – AKA the ‘Do Or Die’ – snowboard bindings are built for riders that see the whole mountain as a terrain park.
The Anti Shock highback used in the D.O.D has been redesigned, and while it retains performance it now comes in a lower profile form. The flex channel allows the top of the highback to flex before locking out for full power. It can also be rotated to optimise heelside performance while allowing more freedom of movement along the length of the board.
The D.O.D features Rome’s cushioned and supportive UltraFlex Pro ankle straps, which use AuxTech® to create an over-moulded design for a powerful, reactive feel and locked-in hold. Rome has also fitted the D.O.D with the ProFlex toe straps, which are essentially an innovative network of hinges that provide unmatched hold and locked-in grip. In addition, there’s D3O in the SubBase pad to reduce chatter and improve shock absorption, which has been combined with a Fullwrap platform to give these bindings maximum energy transfer, making them stable at speed but playful enough to press and tweak.
These D.O.D bindings don’t disappoint when it comes to Rome’s trademark customisation either. You can easily rotate the highback for different levels of performance depending on your riding style, while the adjustable baseplate has been created to fit the widest range of boot sizes possible.
