TX-Light Hybrid Concept

The HYBRID is the ingenious fusion of two foil kite designs: it combines the depower and stability of a single skin with the water launchability, control and handling of a double skin. The sails feature UV-resistant fabric, airtight coatings and absorbent properties to improve airflow when wet.

Performance Tuner

The Performance Tuner is a knot ladder integrated into the C-Pulley Line to influence the camber of the kite. Moving the Z-Main Line influences the bar forces and performance of the kite. By shortening it you get more low end, steering/holding forces. By lengthening it you get the opposite, you get less backstall, steering/holding forces.

Front Line Safety System

To minimize the pull after the safety system is activated, the kite blows out on a front line that is attached to the opposite side of the leading edge. When sorting the bridle lines, note that the cross-main line is attached to the opposite side. This is needed to blow out the HYBRID kite due to the low stretch.

The fun factor was of course on our personal wish list and the love of hydrofoiling makes this foil kite unique. We tested the kite with 1200 cm² – 2000 cm² front wings in small waves and are absolutely convinced by the performance and drift. We have never had so much fun in conditions where you would normally have difficulty. The HYBRID gives you the confidence to go beyond yourself.

Sports vacation with the whole family! Because exercise is important for personal development and health. We all know the strain of traveling with heavy luggage. The minimal packing size and low weight of the HYBRID is a problem solver here. In use, the kite allows young shredders to make progress intuitively and independently. The parents can then comfortably climb onto the hydrofoil and enjoy their session.

Our stated goal was to make kite sports more accessible. Safety and ease of use are the key requirements for the HYBRID. After extensive long-term testing with our partners, we are convinced that we have revolutionized entry into the sport. The HYBRID is forgiving and energy-saving to fly, and is extremely easy to control. The single-skin area allows you to reduce peak power and lift, and prevents high-speed impacts. The kite drifts extremely well and has enormous stability in gusty, light and strong winds. The fantastic control and predictable flight characteristics make it the best strong-wind foil kite in our line-up.

The characteristics of the HYBRID allow a particularly safe and playful approach to kiting. The low weight and light bar forces allow children to fly the kite in the lower wind range without any effort. The low-lift concept and the immediate depower prevent beginners from being lifted away and create confidence in the kite. The revolution for the youngest twintip shredders, a playful kite for hydrofoiling and the game changer for training use.

The HYBRID is at home on any surface in classic FLYSURFER style and can be used on water, land and snow. It can be easily packed so that you are ready for a session anywhere and at any time.
