TRIPLE RIPSTOP SLC-TEX
SLC-TEX stands for Special Coated Longevity Textile. The advantages of the uniform coating of the canvas are excellent tear resistance, high UV resistance and permanent airtightness. The 3×3 yarn combination is as light as a 2×2 yarn and as strong as any 4×4 yarn fabric. The material is particularly suitable for long-term use and has excellent aging properties. During our aging tests, SLC-TEX showed 60% less porosity and 30% higher tear resistance.

Don’t set yourself any limits, because we didn’t do that when developing the STOKE either! With the Streamlined Construction we are ushering in the next generation of our LEI kites and for the first time implementing our vision of durable lightweight construction.
The innovation starts with the selection of our materials and their optimal processing. The manufacturing process has been optimized to prevent potential problems and to obtain the most aerodynamically clean construction:
