Bisley 5.0870 MSM Modified Survival Machete by Walther
The Walther Modified Survival Machete is based on a design from the fifties/sixties for a special forces unit and has been adjusted in a few ways to make it more suitable as a versatile survival machete.
The heart of the compact MSM is a full tang blade made of tough powder-coated 1065 carbon steel. The various zones of the blade enable it to handle a large number of different tasks. Its weight is concentrated towards the tip to make it especially effective for cutting and chopping. The secondary egde is useful for a wide range of other activities, such as digging and prying. For jobs involving fibrous materials there is a sharp-toothed sawback. The ergonomically shaped G10 scales on the handle ensure safe work. There is also a practical impact point and lanyard eyelet. Supplied with a nylon sheath.
