As the sales of Express cartridges increased so did the demand for new products. In 1995 it was decided to introduce a range of .410 (36 gauge) cartridges. Again the development team at Express sprung into action, armed with the requisites of the shooters they developed a range of .410 cartridges to satisfy the criteria of the shooters. The range currently consists of three cartridges, firstly a 2 inch cartridge suitable for the olde English classic guns, a 2 ½ inch for the majority of guns and last but not least a powerful 3 inch magnum shell for those shooters who demanded more power.All .410 Cartridges have tempered shot with other hardening alloys. This shot is made to our exacting requirements.The powders used for .410 Cartridges are Vectan powders made in France by the Nobel Sport Group to the very highest standards of consistency and cleanliness. The powders are double base flake powders which will burn at low pressures ensuring the very uniform patterns demanded by knowledgeable shooters. The Plastic Wad is designed to for maximum efficiency and to open the pattern at the muzzle for maximum effect.
