Pulsar MERGER DUO NXP50 MULTISPECTRUM THERMAL BINOCULARS
The new Pulsar Merger Duo NXP50 multispectral binoculars combine thermal and digital night vision imaging in a single unit and offering enhanced detection, recognition and identification capabilities. Taking the best selling Merger XP50 LRF and adding HD digital night vision combines both technologies for the ultimate viewing performance.
Pulsar Merger Duo NXP50 acquires quality images in various wavelength spectrums (visible, near infrared and long-wave Infrared ranges) making it a truly versatile unit for observation at any time of the day under all weather conditions. Taking advantages of both technologies, Merger Duo makes it easy to find an object with thermal imaging, evaluate the terrain with digital night vision and identify clearly all the object’s smallest features and details with combined viewing modes.
Thermal and Digital Combined viewing modes
The Merger Duo supports several observation modes. The thermal image mode is used for animal detection and observation in any weather conditions, while digital image mode maintains improved target-identification capability in Full-HD resolution. The “Picture-in-Picture” function makes it possible to simultaneously display images from both optical channels, prioritising the thermal or digital image.
Highly sensitive thermal sensor
Highly sensitive 640×480 pixel @ 17 µm thermal imaging sensor with NETD <25mK ensures stunning thermal image quality and perfect detail recognition even in the hardest weather conditions, when thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences will be clearly visible during the rainfall, fog or cold mornings, in the most difficult conditions for thermal imager.
High Detection Range
The advantage of thermal imaging is early animal detection at any time of day. At night, it is the most effective way to find game at a great distance. Due to high-quality long-focal-length optics and a high-sensitivity sensor, the Merger Duo has outstanding capabilities for the observation range – an object with a height of 1.8 m is detected at 1800 meters in complete darkness.
Extra Low Light full HD night vision
The image generated by the Merger Duo NXP50 digital night channel features high definition and high-quality detail processing. Silhouettes, anatomical differences, behavioural peculiarities – HD-resolution electronics display the trophy qualities of an animal, giving the hunter the information needed for good decision-making on a shot.
Included IR illuminator
The Merger Duo NXP50 comes with an attachable invisible 940 nm IR illuminator with adjustable spot positioning. It increases the image detail in the digital channel during a pitch-black night.
