William Powell Snap Caps X2 – Brass
The William Powell Snap Caps are crafted in brass metal and are available in 12, 16, 20, 28 bore, and .410, these smart snap caps will be a useful addition to your shooting kit bag or gun cleaning collection. Snap caps are very important for use when ‘dry-firing’ your gun. This is when you fire without live ammunition, which you may do when practicing gun mount or looking at your gun fit, for example. The snap caps replace the cartridges and prevent excess strain on the firing pins which would occur if you were to fire an empty gun. Some people also prefer to store their guns with snap caps in to relieve tension on the main springs. However you use them, there are many advantages to these useful little tools.
