The ZEISS adapter consists of two parts: the DTC ring (standard size) and a DTC adapter adapted to the diameter of the riflescope’s lens. The ZEISS adapter allows the DTC 3 attachment to be attached easily and precisely.

DTC ring and DTC adapter are not included in the DTC 3’s scope of delivery.

The DTC ring is the link between the DTC adapter and the DTC 3 thermal imaging attachment. The DTC ring is equipped with an M52 screw thread on the attachment side. There is a bayonet attachment on the adapter side. The screw thread ensures safe and stable attachment, while the bayonet attachment creates a robust connection between the adapter and DTC 3 with its turn-and-insert movement. When the combination of the DTC 3 attachment, DTC ring, DTC adapter, and riflescope has been zeroed in, the attachment can be removed easily, for example, for transport. Thanks to the bayonet attachment, the position of the point of impact is not changed, as long as the position of the DTC adapter on the riflescope side is not changed. The DTC ring can be purchased separately and makes it possible to attach a DTC 3 to numerous riflescopes in the process.
