The Express Max Game range of hunting cartridges were introduced in 1996 responding to the continual requests for Lyalvale to produce heavier loaded cartridges with reduced recoil. The range of 3 inch (76mm) cartridges manufactured for use in all guns CIP proofed for magnum chambers not less than 76mm. Available in all shot sizes from BB to 4. The crimp closure ensures that all patterns remain consistent even at the extreme ranges this cartridge was developed for.The 50gm cartridge was developed for Lyalvale shooters who had feed problems with some brands of Automatic shotgun but did not want to stop using the Express product. As with all Express products the use of a unique formulation of lead shot ensures optimum performance and consistent patterns at the longest of ranges. The cartridge uses clean burning Vectan propellant from the Nobel Sport Group in Brittany, France. All the Vectan powders used are single base to achieve long range kills with reduced recoil. As with all Vectan propellants they have been specially formulated for heavy loads. This formulation allows higher velocities for clean consistent long range kills without the usual increase in recoil normally associated with Magnum cartridges.
